Toby Reynolds
Editor in Chief
Growing up in CdA as a young man I'd not only wanted to be a writer, but had also been writing. I remembered the many novels I'd begun, the short story I'd written as a fourth grader, the time I'd taken second with a piece I'd written for my high school creative writing class. As a sixth grader I'd even gotten 'A' grades on book reports that were completely fictional.
I attended—when I felt inclined—Coeur d'Alene High School. Much later, I earned my BA in English and Creative Writing at Boise State University where I received some very minor recognition. Not too glamorous a pedigree, perhaps, but the important thing—the only thing that ever really matters—is what I learned, and that I learned from, and was taught by the best.

Joel Riner
Feature Photographer
Passion, Experience, Dedication. I think those are three words that describe my photography career well. Since my Freshman year in college many years ago I have pushed myself to become the best photographer I can be. Whether it was spending extra hours in the darkroom or trekking up a mountain with my 4x5 camera or going in on days off to shoot some creative studio work, the passion for the craft has not faded. My time in photography has taken me to many beautiful places and I have had the pleasure of photographing some amazing people. I have captured the work of so many creative individuals. As I continue to pusue photography I am dedicated to pushing myself to always be better.

Patrick Fanning
Senior Graphic Designer
I am many things and one of them is a Visual Designer. The passion I have for design seeps out of all of my work. My most notable skill is the ability to be a chameleon. It is not my job to inflict my personal style on your identity; rather, my number one priority is to help your identity/brand flourish and stand out in a sea of similarity. I have only been designing professionally for several years; I still have so much room to learn and grow..
