Why do you recommend it?
It’s a fairly moderate hike with a big payoff of spectacular scenery as a reward.
Story continues after a quick message from our sponsor below.
What was most noteworthy?
While we were out there a big thunder and lightning storm rolled in and put on quite a show of light and colors. When the rain started coming down we headed back, but got completely dumped on. It was so much fun!
Are there restrooms/facilities?
Yes, at the visitor center.
Know before you go:
The parking lot at Logan Pass fills up fairly quickly, so you’ll either want to go early or be ready to play the waiting game. You also never know what wildlife might show up so be prepared… keep your bear spray handy where you can quickly use it if necessary.
Where to celebrate after the adventure?
Rising Sun Pizza
How do you get there?
Hidden Lake – Google Map Location
Take Going-To-The-Sun Road to the top at Logan Pass Visitor Center. The trailhead is right out the back of the visitor center.
