Why do you recommend it?
Though not long or difficult Hobo Creek Trail is interesting and scenic. Part of the Marble Creek trail system, Hobo Creek flows into Marble Creek which then flows into the St. Joe River. The trail is surrounded by grand fir, hemlock, cedar and douglas fir.

What was most noteworthy?
I enjoyed a drive up the St. Joe River, then up Marble Creek stopping often to take in the sights. The hike had informative signs explaining the history of the area. The trail features a historic steam donkey and remains of a splash dam and logging camp.
Are there restrooms?
Yes
Know before you go?
I went prepared with bear spray. Never know when that day might come when one decides to travel the same trail as you. The regular stuff, water, snacks, and clothing for different conditions, sunshine when you leave town can easily turn to rain upon arrival.
Where to celebrate after?
Around the campfire.
