Ingredients – SHORT RIB
» 1 bone in chuck short rib (3-4 bones)
» 1 cup spice blend
» 1/2 cup yellow mustard
Ingredients – SPICE BLEND
» 1/2 cup salt
» 1/2 cup extra course black pepper
» 1/2 dried culinary lavender
Ingredients – ALABAMA WHITE BBQ SAUCE
» 1 cup mayonnaise
» 1/4 cup apple cider
Heavily season the chuck short ribs with the salt, pepper and lavender. Blend and place on a smoker for about 6 hours at 275 degrees. Once the meat pulls away from the bones and the internal temperature is between 175-185 degrees wrap in 2-3 layers of foil and place back on the smoker until internal temperature is between 200-205 degrees.
For the Alabama white BBQ sauce, simply place all ingredients in a blender or big bowl and mix until thoroughly combined.
