Chef Adriano comes to us from Curitiba, Brazil, where as a boy he learned from his mother to cook coxinhas (deep fried dumplings) and sfihas (Brazilian type empanadas) for income. His passion for cooking stems from a deep desire to share his culture with those around him. He chose to share this recipe because it is an authentic Brazilian dish that has become a local favorite.
