What was most noteworthy?
While the trail is stunningly beautiful, lined with moss, sword ferns, and other vibrant green coastal plants, Munson Falls is an absolute gem. It is the tallest waterfall on the Oregon Coast Range.

Know before you go:
Depending on the time of year, the road in to the trailhead can be muddy and rutted. Beware low clearance vehicles and drive in at your own risk.

Drive back to Tillamook and enjoy excellent food and a local experience of itself at the Tillamook Cheese Factory.
How do you get there?
From Tillamook, drive approximately 6-7 miles south on Highway 101. Turn left onto Munson Creek Road. Drive 1 mile up a paved rural road, then veer slightly left onto a dirt forest road. Drive another .5 miles to the trailhead.
